  I don’t have this tv but was thinking of getting it for my ps3. Is it advertised wrong? In the description it says 720p but according to the specs it says the resolution is 1920×1080 which would make it 1080p. which is it?

  The price and the quality are just right for my purpose–a bedroom TV. It works well and has an excellent picture–particularly in HD mode.

  I recently purchased this HDTV to replace a 32″ Panasonic that had a backlight issue causing dark Patches On Screen. The Vizio VECO320 Is a nice TV With good contrast ratio of 2500:1 easy setup and menu screens to control the Video/Audio settings. The set comes with remote, stand and Instruction manuals. There are no A/V or HDMI Cales included. If there is one negative it might be The color choice of White Vizio decided on. White makes the remote and the TV Look cheap and may turn some off. Other than the color this TV Really shines with great picture and great sound quality.

  I up graded from a 15″TV to this 22″, and really like it for size and being white it looks good in the kitchen. Picture quality is good but my one complaint is that the sound is not loud enough.Probably will have to hook up an extra speaker. My husband doesn’t hear well and he complains it is not loud enough.

  My husband loves it. It is easy to use and the picture is very clear. His is black, not white.

  The set looked to be exactly what I wanted. However, it came with the HDMI port not working. The technician from DISH TV urged me to return it to Toshiba as “you don’t want a set that’s broken from the start”. I did return it as I wanted to use HDMI and not components. It took a long time to get it back from Toshiba and when it came, the set now would not power on. It is now back with Toshiba for a second repair on a brand new TV. In the 40 some days that I have had this set, I have actually been able to use it about 8. It takes 10 days or more for Toshiba to send a FEDX shipping label, a week or more for fixing the set and a slow return back to me.
  And when it comes back now I will get watch a TV (perhaps) with the dread that I will have to send it off again and go another 20 days without TV.
  The set may be a good set, I don’t know. But Toshiba has really let me down.

  The white Toshiba 22LV506 22-inch 720p LCD HDTV with built in DVD Player has proved to be just what we wanted for our light colored bedroom. A knowledgeble young man installed the wall mount in a short time and the TV was playing within a few hours of being unpacked from the box. The set arrived on time, but with a few minor dings in the rugged cardboard box. However, the set seems to be working beautifully, with a great picture and good audio. The relative lightness of an LCD flat panel TV enabled us to mount it on a wall with relative ease. The built-in DVD player was a particular attraction, as it does allow a relatively compact installation with a minimum of wires.

  I still am working to understand the ins and outs of this set and what it will do, so this review is not as complete as I would like. However, I am quite satisfied with this set, and hope that it will give me many years of service. If anything, the picture was better than I hoped.

  We don’t watch a lot of TV in our household so this is our only TV and it suits us fine. It has a good clear picture, with an easy to use DVD player and remote. However, the sound is a little under powered. We purchased a cheap PC speaker/sub woofer system to remedy that and it’s been just fine.

  Nice little TV set. I use it to show DVDs in a guest room, and it works great. White matches my decor pretty well, and gives a nice clear picture and sound. 19″ is the right size for this small room.

  I have owned this unit for about four months and feel free to make a few comments.

  Pro - The picture is excellent in DVD format. I only have standard cable (not HD) and the picture is excellent.
  - Lots of inputs
  - Nice stand

  Cons - The sound is tinny ( thin metallic sound ) and really sucks. I have some computer speakers hooked up as others suggest.
  - Really slow to change channels. Still can’t get used to the delay
  - The remote is not really user friendly. Bulky and confusing to operate.

  I knew of these issues before purchasing, and overall I am satisfied with the unit.

  Purchased this unit April 15, 2009. Beautiful design and the image is gorgeous. Looks great in our den. But the sound? Tinny,tinny,tinny!!! Two audio adjustments (bass & treble) do nothing to help it. Don’t waste your money if you expect even reasonable quality sound. Very disappointed in Toshiba marketing such a unit.
