I will never buy ANY Polaroid product again. Customer service is as bad as it gets. I bought a 15.4″ LCD TV and it lasted 13 months. Yes…right after the warranty expired. Total crap.

I was looking to find an LCD HDTV that was a good value, as I didn’t want to spend too much. This Samsung model fit the bill perfectly. I’ve had it a few months and it works great rendering video streamed from the Internet, Hulu, Netflix, etc. When I first connected the Mac Mini to it, the HDTV read “Adjusting…” and the picture came back and filled the screen completely with no edge lines, etc. Very nice! The speakers aren’t great on the TV, but there is an output to hook up external speakers if desired. Also, there are plenty of input options to cover most everything one might need. I do not regret this purchase and would recommend this product to others.

I’ll admit, I’m a big Sony devotee and usually love their products - but - I bought a 32″ Sony Bravia at Sam’s Club a couple of months ago and was quite disappointed. Even after a thorough tweaking - the colors were dark and muddy and the definition was middling. My Sony had a prolonged start up time and a painfully slow response to the remote - which seem to be common complaints. After about a month, the Sony started acting weird and would freeze up on certain channels - requiring shutdown and repeat power up. Understandably, the Sony went back to Sam’s for a refund.

At that point, I was disenchanted with HDTV and went back to watching our old CRT TV. My wife finally prodded me into shopping for a replacement. Sony was no longer in the running but I had read good reviews for Samsung and found the LN32A450 on sale at HH Gregg for well under $500! I compared it side-by-side to other 32″ HDTV’s in the store and found its performance as good as most and better than many costing several hundred dollars more. Colors were vibrant and definition was very good. Set up out of the box was easy and performance, so far, has been great. My only complaint: the remote is a bit big and cumbersome. Although I’ve had it less than a month - I’m impressed and would definitely pick it over similarly equipped HDTV’s - including Sony……

I recently puchased this TV beause I needed cable ready small TV for my office. After reading the reviews I dcided to take a chance and I am very happy that I did. The only thing is that I can’t figure how to slant the screen any or to take the base off to wall mount. Other than that I am extremely pleased. In this review of lcd tv manufacturer, I’m going to show you both the good and the bad. After all, what’s a review without some honesty, right? First, I have to tell you upfront that lcd tv manufacturer is my favorite choice. Sure, there’s other products in the same class, but frankly, none of them as good (in terms of quality). This little TV is great for in the kitchen–my wife loves it. Now all the satellite channels are available, and the cost is only $5 a month for adding this on to our regular DirecTV subscription.
To make it perfect, I would like these additional features: (1) An over-the-air tuner to use without DirecTV. (2) More picture format choices like other Samsung recievers; wide, panorama, zoom, etc. This one has only widescreen and normal. (3) Since it has the 9×16 screen, it would be nice if it displayed the hi-def channels even though they would be in standard resolution.

System came with all components required. Was easy to install. Must make sure separate backets that connect to TV are level. Easy to mount TV and adjust angle.

I purchased the Sony 40″ XBR5 in April of 2008. I use an upscaling DVD player and also have my PC connected to the XBR. I hope to soon attach a new 80 gig PS3 to the system. All I can say is the whole package is superb! I have sampled most of the features including the motion enhancers–everything works as advertised. And, of course, the picture quality is second to none. Finally, I cannot detect any fan noise from the XBR. I recommend this unit to anyone desiring the highest quality LCD display.

This wall mount does all it is supposed to do. I installed it with ease, the price was more than fair, and the machining matched the flat screen perfectly. My only suggestion is to try and secure the wall base in a stud. If you can’t, then you have to use quality sheetrock anchors. All in all, I’m very pleased with the product.+

I purchased this TV from [...] refurbished. It looks like new and after changing my directv service to HD, the picture looks great. The definition is excellent. The only - thing is that there is no code for the directv remote to be able to set this TV to work with the directv remote, so you have to use both remotes. Since I use it in the room, it is ok. I read many reviews about this and apparently cable and dish tv customers have the same problem. About Emerson, I used to have a small Emerson TV a while ago and the picture was great and it lasted for ever, so I trust this brand even thought many people have not heard about it. Keep in mind that for HD LCD TVs you’ll need to get HD signal to get the best picture quality. This is a great TV and I recommend it highly.
